House
Moving Procedures
Please note that your
house moving project is unique and
the following is intended as a
general guide only. Please call us
with any specific questions.
|
Prospective Procedure:
-
Send pictures with
dimensions.
-
We
will give you a price
range of the cost of the
project.
-
If
the estimated project
cost meets your budget,
we will send a
Prospective Move
Agreement to you. If the
project estimate exceeds
$10,000 we will be
required to drive the
route of your move and
look at all locations to
and from where your
structure will be moved.
-
From there, your project
will be budgeted and you
will be given a specific
price for the move.
-
The
cost of the prospective
move is $250-750
depending on the time
needed to accurately
budget your job. This
amount will be credited
to the final coast of
the move.
-
When we have agreed on
the price of your move,
we will then send you a
contract identifying the
mover's and the
customer's
responsibilities. Once
the contract is signed
and the first draw is
received (usually 1/3rd
of the cost of the move)
we will then schedule
your move so you can
plan accordingly.

they have a Demolition /
Relocation permit and
that they have
disconnected all
services.

be credited to the cost
of your move, we will
conduct a prospective

necessary aspects of
your proposed move
including measurements,
route runs and barrier
identification.

|
Preparation
of house / site:
-
You will
be responsible for
preparing your lot and
the house before the

us if you are unsure of
how your particular site

level to allow you to construct a new
foundation. The new foundation must have
block-outs to facilitate the removal of our
